        The second of the two College Football Playoff Semifinals is on Friday, January 9, when the fifth-seeded Oregon Ducks take on the top-seeded Indiana Hoosiers in the Chick Fil A Peach Bowl at 7:30 pm, on ESPN. All the stakes, key matchups and a prediction will be broken down here. 

    The Stakes:        The winner of this game plays No. 10 seed Miami in the National Championship Game on Monday, January 19. Both Oregon and Indiana are seeking their first-ever National Championship. Oregon is looking for their third National Championship Game appearance in program history and their first since 2014. Indiana is seeking their first ever National Championship Game appearance. Oregon also seeks revenge on Indiana for their regular-season loss to the Hoosiers, which is the only loss that either team has sustained all season. 

    When Oregon has the Ball:         When Oregon has the ball, they are led by quarterback Dante Moore. On the season, Moore has thrown 373 passes with 272 completions for 3,280 yards with 28 touchdowns and nine interceptions. His top receivers are Malik Benson, tight end Kenyon Sadiq, Jeremiah McCullen, Dakorien Moore, tight end Jamari Johnson, and Gary Bryant Jr. Oregon's passing offense ranks 41st in the country, averaging 251.4 passing yards per game. Their top two running backs are Noah Whittington, who has 129 carries for 829 yards and six touchdowns on the year, and Jordan Davison, who has 113 carries for 667 yards and 15 touchdowns this season. The Ducks' rushing offense ranks 15th in the country, rushing for 206.1 yards per game. Overall, Oregon ranks 11th in the country in scoring offense, averaging 38.1 points per game, and 16th in the country in total offense, averaging 457.5 total yards per game. They are matched up against an elite Indiana defense that ranks 2nd in the country in scoring defense, only giving up 10.3 points per game. At linebacker, they are led by Rolijah Hardy, Aiden Fisher, and Isaiah Jones. Along the defensive line, they are led by Stephan Daley, Tyrique Tucker, Hosea Wheeler, Kellan Wyatt, Mikail Kamara, and Mario Landino. The Hoosiers rank 2nd in the country in rushing defense, giving up a meagre 73.7 rushing yards per game. In the secondary, they are led by Louis Moore, Devan Boykin, D'Angelo Ponds, Amare Ferrell, and Jamari Sharpe. Indiana is tied for 18th in the country in passing defense, giving up 178.9 passing yards per game. Overall, Indiana ranks 2nd in the country in total defense, giving up 252.6 total yards per game.

His top receivers are Omar Cooper Jr., Elijah Sarratt, Charlie Becker, E. J. Williams Jr., and tight end Riley Nowakowski.
